Carols by candlelight at Garden World

Garden World invites everybody to their annual Carols by Candlelight evening on Thursday 4 December. It will be hosted by MC Francois Pretorius and will feature the 7de Laan actors and artists from the West Rand.

The NG Weltevreden Church Choir directed by Christo Bezuidenhout will entertain the public with traditional Christmas carols and everybody will be invited to participate in this beautiful celebration in song.

The artists who will perform include Linda Killian, Leandrie Lombaard, Bruwer Malan, Luchelle van Niekerk and a special performance by Gerrie Pretorius.

Come and meet Hennie Jacobs, Corné Crous and Hildegardt White from 7de Laan, who together with the MC will entertain the audience.

The picturesque Garden World, especially decorated with Christmas lights for the occasion, has hosted this annual charity event for many years. This year all donations and gifts received will benefit auSOMEtism – an organisation founded on the principle that children on the Autism spectrum may be different from neuro typical children, but are no way any less awesome than their peers.

This is an evening for the whole family and you are invited to bring your own picnic basket. Be there at 6.30pm for 7pm. While entrance is free, you are requested to support this worthy cause with a minimum donation of R20 and gifts for the children in need. Candles and carol sheets will be made available on the evening and your donation for those items also will be much appreciated.

Food stalls will remain open for refreshments throughout the evening and the Christmas craft market for those special gifts will trade until 9pm.
