Trick or treat in Discovery

A few streets in Discovery were invaded by zombies, witches and vampires during Halloween on Saturday night.

They were lurking in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to knock on the front door of unsuspecting families while shouting “Trick or Treat!”.

The Discovery Community Forum hosted the Halloween Trick or Treat event in an effort to give back to the community that has supported the forum over the past years, says block watch and patrollers captain Hennie Matthews. “The participants, mostly children, enjoyed a fun evening out. They were supplied with pumpkins and escorted by their parents and security companies,” he says.
