Neighbourhood watch a success

The Horizon View Blockwatch together with a couple of concerned community members held a visibility drive recently.
The drive was attended by block watches from Honey Hills, Ontdekkers Park and two security companies, Apcan and Dunmar.
Horizon View Blockwatch chairperson James Clarke says the community and the block watch working together led to the arrest of three house robbers and one cable theft suspect recently.
“I am proud to say that in September no incidences were reported,” says Clarke.
He advises all community members to be vigilant and always look out for any suspicious activities in the neighbourhood.
The day was finished off with a braai and a few beverages courtesy of Dunmar.
