The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) on the West Rand is embarking on their annual Toktokkie campaign. The campaign is aimed at nursery and primary schools.

Cansa strives towards reaching out to the younger generation and educating them in adopting healthier lifestyles at an early age. In their effort to carry the message across to children, they illustrate the value of a healthy eating plan in their talks.

Cansa thanks all the nursery schools they have toiled with for their generous donations. So far, R2 650 has been collected.

The 10 nursery schools that have pledged to work with Cansa in their Toktokkie campaign are Helderkruin Kleuterskool, Little Legends, 10 uit10 Naskool, Rudinki Speelgroep, Wikkelvoetjies Kleuterskool, Turtle Den 1, Turtle Den 2, Michelle’s Little Angels, West Rand Study Centre and Pienk voet pret.

“It was fun visiting all the nursery schoolso. Thank you to all the parents as well. Without your support we can not

support others,” says Toktokkie mascot Chrissie ten Krooden.
