Woman of Substance will also be showcased as an organisation. Their theme for this year’s charity dinner is Dancing with the Stars and Du Plessis promises that it will indeed be a night of dancing and enjoying for all of those who attend.

“Everyone is welcome to attend the event. There will also be corporate tables that companies can book,” said Du Plessis. Live entertainment will be rendered by music group Elaganza Voices, together with duo musicians Beukes and Delaney.

Proceeds made on the day will be given to the Roodepoort Child Welfare and the Breast Health Foundation.

With the planning stage almost at its peak, Du Plessis says they still need assistance to make certain things they want to achieve on the night possible. “We need sponsors who can aid with things like prizes and other final touches that will ensure that the night is a success.”
