Murder case postponed to 6 November

RANDPARK RIDGE – Stabbed woman case postponed to 6 November, pending further investigation.

The man who allegedly stabbed his wife to death earlier this year will appear again in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on 6 November.

The case was once again postponed as police investigation has not yet been concluded, according to the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Michael Erasmus.

It has been reported in the general media that the man was previously convicted of murder after he had hacked three of his family members to death with an axe in 1999. He had served 13 years and was released on parole for the second time. During the same year [2012], he married the woman [the deceased in this case]and continued to lead a seemingly normal life for the next two years until something changed and he allegedly committed the murder.This, according to W/O Erasmus.
