Craft market a big success

RADIOKOP – Radiokop Resident's Association's Craft Market and Car Boot Sale lured crowds.

A craft market was hosted by the Radiokop Resident’s Association (RRA) on 24 September to celebrate Heritage Day.

RRA secretary Peter Dinsmore said, “The event had two sides, one side was the craft market and the other side was the Car Boot Sale, and it took place at the Wood & Iron Driving Range.”

He explained that the support on the day surpassed all of his expectations.

“The event was well-supported from both people wishing to sell and others wishing to buy. We had local residents selling garden herbs and plants, second-hand clothing, house decorations, solar lighting kits, books, toys and more.”

Dinsmore added that this was the first event of this sort that was hosted by the RRA, and he thanked everyone for their support on the day.

“I would especially like to thank Wood & Iron Driving range for allowing us to use their grounds, and I have to thank Londoloza Security who gave a great demonstration of their skills and their new K-9 Dog Protection unit.”

He informed that the RA is planning on hosting a Christmas Market and people can feel free to send him an email for more details.
