Honeydew Police need the community’s help in arresting criminals who recently broke into a house in Weltevreden Park to commit robbery . According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs, the complainant (who is the domestic worker) was working when she heard a noise.
She went to investigate and was confronted by an unknown male; as she tried to run away, the alleged perpetrator forced her into the dining room.
It is reported that two more unknown males arrived shortly thereafter. It appears that the suspects gained entry into the house by forcing open the security gate and backdoor. “The suspects ransacked the house, taking various items after which they fled the scene,” explained Jacobs.
They fled the scene in a white or silver grey Toyota Corolla with unknown registration number. One of the suspects (the one in the ID kit) is believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age. He is of medium built with short hair.
