Princess Primary School Grade 7 pupils held a market day last Friday (12 September) at their school field.

Pupils held a market where their manufactured goods were sold to the rest of the school.

The aim of the entrepreneurs day was for pupils to practice skills taught in many learning areas.

The school encouraged pupils to manufacture their own goods, but bought goods (such as sweets) were not forbidden.

Extra marks were awarded for creativity and initiative shown. Each pupil was allowed only to sell 40 items.

A R50 cash price was up for grabs for the group or pupil with the most attractive and creative stall, as well as for making the most profit.
