Two months ahead of his performance at Silverstar Casino, the show is already sold out. Popular comedian, Trevor Noah is on a nationwide comedy tour with performances at seven of Tsogo Sun entertainment destinations.

Dubbed the NationWild Tour, the comedian will host the show with other comedians including Dillan Oliphant, Eugene Khoza, Dusty Rich, Loyiso Madinga (LoyMad) and Robby Collins.

On 15 and 16 November, Silverstar Casino will be home to the last leg of the tour that started in August where an additional up-and-coming comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout will also be featured.

Proving the popularity and demand of these shows at Silverstar, the 8pm show on 15 November and the 6pm show on 16 November are already sold out. Seeing the demand of these performances, Silverstar has arranged that an additional show takes place at 4pm on 15 November.

Tsogo Sun’s Group events and entertainment manager Sizwe Jantjie mentioned that they are proud to be a part of this innovative and exciting collaboration. “This event is perfectly in line with our entertainment strategy to secure group deals to enable these shows to be seen at a range of our leisure destinations – both our bigger and smaller ones. This is the first time ever that Trevor Noah will be taking his show to smaller cities around the country, and invariably the big shows don’t end up at our smaller properties, but with this group-wide tour, we have a wonderful opportunity to take these shows to an untapped – and no doubt very excited – audience,” explained Jantjie.

Noah too, is delighted at the opportunity presented by NationWild. “I’m really excited for South Africa to see these talented young comics. We have a great line-up that showcases the best of the best of the young comedic talent out there,” mentioned Noah. “Many people let me perform on the biggest stages early on in my career and this tour will hopefully present a great platform for these talented young guys to take their careers to new heights.”

Jantjie added that Tsogo Sun’s goal is to ensure that every person who visits any of their entertainment destinations at any time, has an experience to remember. “We are sure that this brilliant line-up of hilarious talent will be a special memory for every guest.”
