Seeff celebrates 50th anniversary

JOBURG - Seeff Property celebrated their 50th anniversary at the Michelangelo Towers in Sandton.

Seeff properties celebrated their 50th anniversary in style at the world-class Michelangelo Towers in Sandton on 10 September.

Seeff chairman Samuel Seeff announced that they are proud of their achievements and their future endeavours.

Seeff is one of the top three fastest growing real estate brands that has 20 per cent year-on-year growth over the last three to five years.

The high profile property company has close to 200 offices nationwide and abroad. “We have a significant ‘better’ mood in the market.” Most of what has been on the market have now sold, very little new stock coming onto market, sells within days to about a month from listing,” informed Seeff.

Seeff also highlighted that he is impressed with local buyers. “There has been an interesting shift, especially from our Johannesburg Region from buyers coming from Africa…we are seeing increase in demand from our African neighbours.

“People might think that most buyers are foreigners but in actual fact that is not true, the biggest transactions are all from South Africa, so we need to change that perception, South Africans are setting the records,” he said.

Seeff’s presentation also showcased breathtaking places that resembled the essence of status and success.

Seeff also announced that in terms of their 50th anniversary, Seeff Foundation will be launching their internship scholarship programme in 2015, which will sponsor 50 interns through the Seeff Academy to the value of R16 000 per student. Each student will receive a full one-year scholarship to assist in all legislative requirements and thereafter, ideally incorporated into the Seeff organisation.

“We are very excited and that is our contribution in our 50 years of existence,” concluded Seeff.
