Another cold front to hit SA

The first summer rains could fall over the weekend.

South Africans are warned not to pack away their winter woollies as yet.

A strong cold front is expected to hit the Western Cape and parts of the Northern Cape by Wednesday evening, and Gauteng will not be pardoned.

The South African Weather Service says Gauteng residents will start feeling its effects from Friday onwards.

Temperatures are expected to drop and the first summer rains could fall this weekend as well.

Forecaster Edwin Thema says, “We are expecting strong winds over Gauteng. A cold front is expected to hit the province on Friday, causing temperatures to drop. However, it will remain warm in the north.”
