Ryan making waves in soccer world
The tournament was held at the Marks Park by the Bid Vest Wits Soccer Club recently.
Ryan Peters, a Grade 11 pupil at Victory House Private School is making name in the soccer world.
This youngster was awarded the best midfield player of the Under 17 Engen Knockout Tournament (Johannesburg leg).
This tournament recently was hosted by the Bid Vest Wits Soccer Club at Marks Park.
The tournament has helped open doors for some of the current Bafana Bafana stars such as Ajax Amsterdam’s Thulani Serero and Supersport United’s Ronwen Williams and Thato Mokeke.
16 Premier Soccer League Academy teams participated as well as some independent clubs.
Ryan currently plays in the Under 17 Black Aces team.
