Princess hosts pageant to celebrate women’s day

The Princess Crossing shopping centre held their annual beauty pageant in celebration of Woman’s Day on Saturday 9 August.

The alluring 7th beauty pageant took place at the Princess Crossing shopping centre underground parking area.

With prominent citizens as judges the event was a prosperous one. The five judges (Dr Lavern Asante who is a finalist for the Mrs commonwealth beauty pageant, Thabo Nxumalo who is an entrepreneur and whose spouse is a finalist for Mrs South Africa, Tanya Jacobs who is the Princess Crossing shopping centre manager, Lean Haasbroek who is a publicist for Miss South Africa and Kaylan Barnett who holds a few international titles) were in sweat as the pageant heated up every second.

“The pageant was the best ever with 153 entries,” says Princess Crossing marketing manager, Sharon Turner.

3-6 YEARS DIVISION

2nd runner-up: Fallyn Laing

7-9 YEARS DIVISION
