Funny man dies at 63
US comedian and actor Robin Williams has died after committing suicide
People around the world have reacted with shock to the death of Robin Williams, the US born comedian.
Williams entertained the world with his funny and comical artistic talent.
International and local media reported the sad news with few leaders paying their respects, including US president Barack Obama.
The Independent newspaper quotes Obama’s statement, “He made us laugh. He made us cry. He gave his immeasurable talent freely and generously to those who needed it most – from our troops stationed abroad to the marginalised on our own streets. The Obama family offers our condolences to Robin’s family, his friends, and everyone who found their voice and their verse thanks to Robin Williams.”
According to Highveld Stereo reports, Williams committed suicide.
It has also been reported that he had been suffering from depression.
Some will remember his films such as Mrs Doubtfire,Old hogs,Patch Adams,Flubber and Popeye.
