Muldersfdrift – Ten people are still at large after robbing Fabiani's at Cradlestone Mall.

A group of 10 people robbed a shop in Cradlestone Mall at around 9am on 5 August, Security in Practice’s Louis Grobler informed.

Grobler said it was reported that the large group of criminals robbed the Fabiani Shop of a undisclosed amount of stock.

Cradlestone Mall manager Cara Grobler confirmed that the incident occured at the shopping centre. She said, “Our security footage shows that a group of nine men entered the mall through a service passage and then went into the Fabiani store. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident. The perpetrators left the store within a matter of minutes, taking merchandise with them.”

Louis reported that two white Volkswagens were used as getaway cars, and it was confirmed that one was a Caddy model and the other, an Amarok.

“The security cameras were unable to spot the registration numbers,” said Grobler.

Cara concluded, “The safety of our shoppers, retailers and their staff is of the utmost importance to us. There are extensive security measures in place at the mall, which are assessed on an ongoing basis. We will also undertake our own full investigation of the incident together with our security advisers.”
