Mandela Day celebration at Cradlestone

CRADLESTONE - Ocean Basket and Doppio Zero gives back to the less fortunate on Mandela day.

CRADLESTONE – Mandela Day was a day never to be forgotten by many individuals.

Cradlestone’s Ocean Basket, Doppio Zero and The Memorable Order of the Tin Hats (Moth), gave their 67 minutes for Mandela Day by feeding the less fortunate. Ocean Basket manager Peter Bruyns mentioned that Mandela Day should not be the only time to give back to the community. “I think every day should be a Mandela Day. We should always aim to give back to the community and support one another. I have been involved with charity for nine years and it fulfills me,” he said.

Doppio Zero’s André de Vries agreed.

“We are doing this for community involvement; we want to be known as a company that looks after the community and gives back to the less fortunate.”
