At approximately 11am yesterday (15 July) members of the Visible Policing Unit received a call via the sector cellphone to attend a housebreaking in progress.
They rushed to the address in Kirstenbosch Street to find a white VW Polo parked in front of the house with various items already loaded.
The police went inside the house and found the suspects ransacking the house. At the same time the owner arrived and confirmed that it was her property in the vehicle.
Police determined that the suspects gained access by breaking down a wooden door.
Three Samsung plasma televisions, a PlayStation, a laptop, an Apple iPad and cellphones were found in the vehicle.
The arrested suspects, aged 25, 29 and 32, will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of housebreaking.
