Welsh voices in CBD to raise funds
The Welsh male voice choir will be having a concert to raise funds for a local catholic church
Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church will be hosting a concert fundraiser at the church on Saturday (12 July) from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
The Welsh Male Voice Choir of South Africa will be lending their talents in the hope of raising a useful amount of money for the church.
The choir is a non-profit organisation founded in 1978. They have more than 60 members and put on about 50 concerts a year. While they will sing many songs from many genres, they adhere strictly to the welsh choral tradition. They sing in several languages as well, including Afrikaans and Zulu.
