A healthy alternative to smoking: e-liquid

JOBURG – Take the first step to stop smoking with these recipes.

Yes, there is a healthy alternative to smoking recently made available and it may be the best way to help you on the way to quitting the habit.

This alternative is called E-liquid and you can buy it in tobacco stores. Not only do I recommend making your own E-liquid because it’s much easier on the wallet, but it’s better and healthier (you will know exactly what’s in your liquid). E-liquid is used in electronic cigarettes to produce the inhaled vapour.

The recipes I am going to share with you are nicotine free!

The equipment you will need;

1 ml syringes for measuring small quantities of flavouring.

10ml syringes.

5ml, 10ml, and 30ml plastic bottles with dropper tips to store your mixture.

Recipe 1

The ingredients you’ll need;

2ml propylene glycol (PG) food grade (USP) – used for a stronger throat hit, this is the main liquid of choice among most e-cigarette users.

2ml vegetable glycerine (VG) food grade (USP) or just glycerine which is made from animal fats and is used to create more vapour.

Distilled water, this is mostly needed for 100 per cent VG mixes to thin the juice out.

1ml of your chosen food flavouring. Please be aware of the following precautions: Food-grade flavouring compounds are, by definition, not tested for inhalation. Any flavouring containing diacetyl is known to be extremely hazardous to the lungs. So please carefully choose your flavouring before using it.

Now all you need to do is mix supplies, place it into your plastic bottles and leave to stand for at least a day before use.

Recipe 2: (My recommended recipe)

Liquid glycerine available at any chemist (vegetable only).

A few drops of food flavouring to 10ml of glycerine in a sealed container.

Shake and leave to stand for at least 1 to 3 days.

Please use these home recipes carefully.
