The gifts were donated mostly by the clients of the pharmacy, many of whom knitted the scarves themselves. Two giving souls went as far as knitting 27 scarves between them. Although wool and knitting needles were provided by Akacia and the pharmacy, many people bought and used their own. Those who could not knit, as well as those who felt like giving more donated sweets and biscuits.

The collaboration went a long way to making many residents happy and will keep them warm this winter. The Witpoortjie Pharmacy and Akacia would like thank all those who participated and helped better their community.
