Child Welfare South Africa Roodepoort will benefit monthly from Canon West Rand.
A monthly contribution to the branch will be handed over indefinitely, says Canon West Rand Director Brett Nel.
Nel and colleague Margaine Anderson handed over R2 500 to Child Welfare office manager Estelle Odendaal recently as their June contribution.
“We hope this money will help with day-to-day expenses at the Roodepoort branch,” Nel said.
Nel became passionate about the Roodepoort branch last year, donating a photocopier to them.
“Since last year, our business really has taken off and I decided it was time to give back to my community.
“I hope to contribute R2 500 every month for as long as possible.”
