Youngsters march against abuse

Little voices speak out against child abuse.

Sparrow Ministries Rainbow Village held a march against child abuse in Florida on Saturday. The Village provides care and comfort to those affected by the HIV/Aids pandemic.

Approximately 60 children from the Village ranging from toddlers to teens, with their caretakers, took to the street to take a stance against the scourge of child abuse.

The young protesters marched from the Village to Florida Lake and were escorted by Metro Police and SAPS members.

At the lake they were met by police members who educated them about child abuse, its prevention and the importance of reporting it.

Afterwards the children were treated to snacks at the Village.
