Allan Gray Orbis Foundation offers Grade 12 scholarship

JOBURG - Don't miss the deadline for this scholarship.

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation invites pupils in Grade 12 to apply for an Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Scholarship.

The foundation gives pupils who show entrepreneurial talent, an opportunity to develop as responsible entrepreneurs by applying for the fellowship. The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation exists to identify, support and develop talented young Southern Africans who have the potential to become entrepreneurial leaders and make a valuable difference to the social and economic fabric of South Africa. “Applications close on 30 April and applicants who pass the initial screening phase of selection are required to write the National Benchmark Test,” explained Allan Gray Orbis Foundation’s chief executive officer, Anthony Farr.

Applicants who meet the foundation’s requirements in the application phase, would be invited for an interview and if successful, thereafter, they would be invited to attend a selection camp.

“Candidates of the Allan Gray Fellows will be announced after the selection camps,” Farr added.

The fellowship distinguishes itself from other bursary and scholarship programmes with its holistic and individual investment approach. It also offers the opportunity to engage in a personal and entrepreneurial development programme alongside access to university education.

“The foundation is seeking individuals who will shape the future of Southern Africa. Individuals with vision, passion, imagination and integrity. Shape your future and apply to be a potential candidate for a Fellowship opportunity,” he said.
