A Florida resident Patsy Smith has approached the Record with her idea to start community groups in the area.
“We are starting a Christian prayer group to meet at my house in Florida every Thursday,” she said.
Patsy wants to meet on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm.
“Everyone is welcome and can contact me for more information.”
She also looks forward to starting a book club for men and women over the age of 60. The club will meet one Friday a month, with meetings taking place at a different member’s house each time. She suggests that finger snacks would compliment the discussions about literature.
