Hirsch’s networking breakfast

STRUBENS VALLEY – Home store doing business a little differently.

There is no better way for commerce to flourish than through networking. Hirsch’s Home Store in Strubens Valley is very aware of this, and recently held a business breakfast with the sole purpose of networking.

Manager Norman Brassell gave an inspiring speech highlighting the importance SECS – service, efficiency, courtesy and safety. “These are the key elements of a successful business,” he stated. “Innovation is also essential, so always apply different methods of thinking to your business dealings and think outside the box.”

“Adversity moulds us. The toughest and best wood come from trees who have resisted the strong winds of change and time.”

Brassell also stated that the best way to grow staff are by taking them down the roads less travelled. This will force them to be less complacent in the work place and more pro-active. “A team that works together with honesty, loyalty and integrity, is a successful team.”

After Brassell’s motivational talk, executives exchanged business cards, knowledge and ideas while enjoying hot cappuccinos and other breakfast treats.

Hirsch’s will be celebrating their 10th birthday on 5 and 6 April, and many fun activities are planned for their customers to join in and win some great prizes. Lucky draws will take place, and also pick-a-box, pop-a-balloon, “putting” for spot prizes. They have also promised lots of birthday cake.
