Father and son unscathed after minibus crashes into them

Passengers narrowly escapes injury.

A father and toddler narrowly escaped serious injury or even death on the afternoon of 5 March.

At approximately 3pm the father and toddler in a silver Toyota Tazz were waiting for the traffic light at the intersection of Conradie Street and Ontdekkers Road to change when the driver of a minibus belonging to the South African Blood Service lost control and crashed into their vehicle.

The minibus was travelling on Ontdekkers Road in the direction of Johannesburg while the Tazz was stationary in Conradie Street.

It is believed that the minibus lost control because the road was wet.

Neither the passengers of the minibus nor the father and son sustained injuries.
