More than 1 500 block watchers in Sector 2

More than 1 500 residents are involved actively with their block watches in the Roodepoort Crime Police Forum’s (CPF’s) Sector 2.

Margaret Roodt, a member of the CPF told the Record just how vast their operations are. Six block watches in Sector 2 are working together to reduce crime in their respective neighbourhoods. Between them, 110 residents actively patrol suburban roads at night, looking out for suspicious activity.
