EFF invites everyone to manifesto rally

The EFF invites all Roodepoort residents to make use of their transport and join them for a rally on the East Rand.

The Economic Freedom Front (EFF) intends to round up West Rand residents for a rally on 22 February, ward command team member Thembi Mzamane told the Record on Tuesday 4 February.

The EFF is hosting a national manifesto rally at the Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa on the East Rand on Saturday 22 February. The rally will start at 10am.

“It is one of our biggest events and thus we would like to make it accessible to all our supporters, even here on the West Rand,” Mzamane explained.

“Everybody is welcome and we’ve organised transport so that you don’t have to worry about it.”

Buses have been arranged to transport interested parties to the rally from as early as 7.30am on the Saturday morning.

Residents are encouraged to go to their nearest pick-up point to access the transport.

Some of these pick-up points are:

• Corner of Randfontein Road and Reyger Street

• Corner of Corlett Avenue and Randfontein Road

• The Engen petrol station on Progress Road
