Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) spokesperson Phumla Sekhonyane this morning (6 January) confirmed that the official 2013 matric results will be released this evening (Monday 6 January).
“Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga tonight will release the NSC matric results live from the M1 Studios at the SABC in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
“Official matric results also will be made available in all daily newspapers from midnight (Monday 6 January),” Sekhonyane told the Record.
“The GDE will have its own ceremony tomorrow (Tuesday 7 January) at 10am.”
Indications are that the results of the class of 2013 will be better than those of the class of 2012.
