Kwaito star's rape case to resume in new year.

The rape accused kwaito star Sipho Brickz Ndlovu, briefly appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on 5 December to appeal against the denial of his bail application on 19 November.

Today, 6 December, Ndlovu appeared in the Palm Ridge High Court to hear if his bail appeal would be successful.

Ndlovu allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl in March.

The National Prosecuting Authority’s (NPA) South Gauteng Communications Manager told the Record that the prosecutor, Kgaogelo Lekoloane, asked for more time to investigate the case and that it has been postponed until 9 January when the case will resume in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court.
