RCA thanks ‘astronomical’ supporters

The Roodepoort Care for the Aged (RCA) wishes to thank residents for their “astronomical” support after a Record article on Thursday 14 November.

“We would like to thank everyone who contacted us after our article appeared in the Record of 6 September.

“The response was truly astronomical,” read a press statement.

The RCA urges residents to reflect on the less fortunate “now that Christmas is upon us”.

“By popping in to see us you might find that odd something that would make a great stocking filler or gift.

“May it please you to know that the money spent here will go towards helping others.”

Residents are welcomed to visit the Care 4 Charity shop in the Roodekrans Shopping Centre for their Christmas shopping needs. The shop is open on Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 2 pm.
