Thandeka Sitole and Amish Rajkumar from Lantern School has been awarded with the Jill Nourse Leadership trophy for their exceptional leadership skills.
Acccording to Rina le Grange from the school, “The Jill Nourse Leadership trophy is awarded to a pupil who has shown outstanding leadership in the school as well as outside the boundaries of the school.
“They both have shown leadership qualities throughout the year. In May during a meeting attended by the leaders of town schools in District 12, Amish was elected as president and Thandeka as PRO respectively of the Representative Council of Learners of Circuit 4.
“We are very proud of them.”
