Rocci honours businesses
Business of the Year nominees announced at cocktail function.
On Thursday 10 October Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Rocci) held a cocktail function at Silverstar casino where they announced the Rocci/FNB Business of the Year 2013 nominees. More than 100 business were nominated.
In between speeches and awards, the evening’s emcee Nadiem Solomon kept the crowd entertained with his personal touch of comedy, and beat boxer Morgan Beatbox wowed the audience with his outstanding musical skills.
Guest speaker Gerrie van Biljon from Business Partners Limited applauded business owners for making it through the recession and managing in a tough economic climate.
The night closed on a happy note when branding school Vega announced they are donating a car to Roodepoort Child Welfare. The handover of the car took place the following day at Vega’s offices in Laser Park.
Business of the year winners will be announced at the gala awards event on 26 October at Silverstar casino.
