The smell of burning tyres and smoke filled the Village @ Horizon Shopping Centre area as bikers gathered since 11am on Friday 27 September before the funeral service to pay their last respects to AJ (Klein Koos/ Kobus) Coetzee who was killed in a motorcycle accident the weekend before last.
Leading the pack to the Moth Hall in the Roodepoort CBD where the service was held, was Coetzee’s brother in law, James Dryden.
After the service family and friends made their way to the Sterkfontein Cemetery where Coetzee was laid to rest.
