Two people are confirmed dead and five injured when a motor vehicle overturned on Jim Fouche Road early on Sunday morning 4 August.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann, “The vehicle with seven occupants was travelling along Jim Fouche Road when it overturned”.
“Tragically, two people lost their lives, two sustained critical injuries and three people were seriously injured in the accident.
“The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift one of the critically injured persons to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. The other injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to various hospitals in the area.
“Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.”
