The DA’s 2014 election campaign in the Florida Constituency will be led by Ward 71 Councillor Gert Niemand.
The Constituency consists of 10 wards, which cover the whole of Roodepoort.
“My aim is to get 50 volunteers in each ward who will be involved actively in campaigning from now until the election in 2014,” says Niemand.
“Although we do not want to campaign at schools we also would like to obtain permission to help all pupils who are turning 18 before the election in April, to register in time,” Niemand explained.
According to Niemand voters already can register on the second floor of the Civic Centre in Christiaan de Wet Road.
