‘We laughed at ourselves’- audience

MULDERSDRIFT - Dose of laughter and all things funny with Trevor Noah and his friends.

What do you get when you have more than five comedians on one stage? Well, if you were at Silverstar’s The Globe, you would know that it is all about laughing.

The venue took centre stage on 15 and 16 November as comedians had their last leg of a nationwide tour that they embarked on, starting from August.

Comedians Dilan Oliphant, Dusty Rich, Eugene Khoza and Loyiso tickled every funny bone of those who attended the comedy show.

In a sold-out show, audience members laughed their lungs out at jokes that these comedians kept cracking.

“This is more about laughing at ourselves. The jokes were more about stereotypes that different races have about each other and the interrelation,” said one of the audience members Regina Mbhele. “Listening to them was very eye-opening because all the jokes they made is what we do as humans on a daily basis,” continued Mbhele.

In his performance, comedian Trevor Noah also took a brawl at the recent events that happened in Parliament. “What the hell is happening in Parliament? I reckon we start discussing and doing government from here (comedy shows) because the comedy is already there (in Parliament),” said Noah.
