Roodepoort Little Theatre resumes productions with hilarious comedy

Roodepoort Little Theatre invites the community for another thrilling comedy show.

The Roodepoort Little Theatre (RLT) is thrilled to announce its return to the stage with another spectacular season of short plays, skits, sketches, songs and dances.

From August 30 to 31, prepare to laugh out loud, as they will be having the unforgettable Baie Lingual Theater show, featuring the hilarious Afrikaans one-act play Die Misverstand produced by John Derckson at the Roodepoort Theatre Basement.

Speaking to the Roodepoort Record, Nikki Forbes, the secretary of RLT productions, says the play follows writer Louis Els who is struggling with his next murder mystery and his wife Susan’s clever idea to overcome it.

However, their helper Lena mistakenly reports a crime, and chaos ensues with the arrival of Detective Bartlett and Constable Martie Viljoen.

She says with the twists and turns, this side-splitting comedy will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Tickets will be available at the door and online at www.roodepoorttheatre.com.
