The love between fathers and their babies was evident as Sky College hosted a Father’s Day event on June 7 to honour the heroes in their learners’ lives.
The morning kicked off with a delightful and creative exercise between fathers and their little ones, featuring a painting, reading and a fun-filled classroom art session that allowed both parties to bond.

Anita Fourie, the digital and marketing specialist at Skye College, told the Roodepoort Northsider that the event was hosted to show appreciation to the fathers.

“Although the weather was cold, the parents showed up, and their efforts were highly appreciated. We saw many happy faces and proud fathers, which proved what a success the event was,” Anita said.

After a fruitful art session, the learners and their fathers were directed to the garden to enjoy a variety of food and refreshments.
