Mallgoers, with a little convincing from the St Catherine’s girls, took to the event with gusto and in the process raised a lot of much-needed funds for the cause.

According to Ester Pretorius from Cansa, who undertakes this event every year, the turnout was fantastic.

“I am so impressed by the young ladies from St Catherine’s Convent, and the energy they bring to this very worthy cause. They stepped up to the plate and rallied a lot of support. Mallgoers were lining up to have their hair either sprayed with some very interesting colours and patterns or for a close crop.”
