Lions Clubs hosting their annual big walk for little warriors

February is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Lions Clubs around Southern Africa unite to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer.

Sandy van Heerden from the Wilro Lions said, “Childhood Cancer is one of our global pillars of service. The Lions Clubs of Wilro Park, Helderkruin, Clearwater Cyber, Weltevreden and Northcliff will be hosting the Big Walk for Little Warriors – a fun 5km walk – at Cradle Moon in Muldersdrift on February 24. Everyone is welcome and all donations received will be handed over to CHOC.

“It’s also FlipFlop Day, so come support this flipping fun event, get your flip flop stickers and meet the CHOC mascots!”
