Fitness fun at Ruimsig parkrun

The Ruimsig parkrun is going from strength to strength, attracting more participants with nearly every event.

The Ruimsig parkrun on February 10 was one for the books, attracting a large number of runners from all walks of life.

According to run director Danny Pretorius, the Ruimsig parkrun is attracting more and more people, recently reaching the milestone of 486 visitors – the most for a single run since Covid-19 restrictions were lifted.

Parkrun volunteer Jeremy Foster-Jones handled the timekeeping on the day.

This is even more of an achievement considering the parkrun at Ruimsig is known as one of the more challenging local runs.
