Tremor felt in several parts of West Rand
Social media was abuzz in the early hours of Tuesday morning following a tremor felt from Krugersdorp to Discovery.
The West Rand community took to social media on January 23 about a tremor felt during the early hours of that morning.
According to one social media post, the tremor, which reportedly occurred just after midnight, could be felt in Witpoortjie, Roodepoort, Kenmare, Rangeview, Silverfields, and even as far as Wilgeheuwel and Discovery.
Gauteng Weather also posted on their X account (previously known as Twitter) that there was a tremor felt in parts of Johannesburg and the West Rand at about 00:29.
