Adorable new arrivals at Rest Ur Ass

The Rest Ur Ass Donkey Sanctuary in Ruimsig are proud to present the latest additions to their happy animal family.

The Rest Ur Ass Donkey Sanctuary in Ruimsig has recently welcomed three new arrivals in the form of two adorable baby donkeys and a cute little lamb.

The sanctuary is known for its strict policy of not breeding with rescued animals, however, two neglected mares rescued in November turned out to be highly gravid, and sanctuary management had no choice but to let them carry to term.

Mila, the jenny is a little shy and not at all impressed with all the attention.

Both foals were born during December and immediately set about stealing the hearts of the staff and visitors, as well as the other animals at the sanctuary.

According to Yolanda le Roux from the sanctuary, the new arrivals have since become right at home at the sanctuary, even winning over everyone including Charlie, the dominant and often obstinate male of the herd.

Lamby has the perfect combination of looks and attitude.

Yolanda added that when they bought the property approximately two years ago, there was a small herd of 11 sheep already there. They decided to adopt the sheep, and the herd has since thrived. The latest addition to the herd goes by the name of Lamby, and with the perfect combination of looks and personality, is a strong contender for the cutest resident of Rest Ur Ass.
