Crawford Ruimsig hosts first Grade 8 camp in three years

The Crawfordians spent their time learning various war cries from the Student Executive Body, raft building, completing obstacle courses, hiking, swimming, and playing various other games and activities over the three days.

After almost three years of not being able to organise a Grade 8 Bonding Camp as a result of Covid-19, Crawford International Ruimsig could finally take their Grade 8’s of 2023 to Klein Kariba.

According to Lindsay van Boven, the excitement was palpable as Grade 8’s embarked on the two-hour journey to Klein Kariba. The buses were filled with the melodic vocals and laughter of Grade 8’s.

“Our learners spent their time learning various war cries from the Student Executive Body, raft building, completing obstacle courses, hiking, swimming, and playing various other games and activities over the three days,” she explained.

Thinking back on the camp, the Crawfordians all agree that the memories and relationships formed will most definitely have a lasting impression and impact.
