Yet another accident at infamous Witpoortjie intersection
Another accident occurred on the corner of Ham street and Generaal Pienaar avenue.
A third accident in two weeks occurred on the corner of Generaal Pienaar Avenue and Ham Street on the morning of March 13. This time between a dark grey BMW and a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The driver of the BMW was travelling up Ham Street and stopped at the stop sign, while the motorcyclist came up Generaal Pienaar Avenue. The driver of the BMW allegedly did not see the motorcycle and drove in front of it, leaving the motorcycle skidding across the road, after which the driver of the BMW drove off.

The driver of the BMW returned after eyewitnesses chased and waved her down. Once again it was a case of not being able to see the oncoming traffic, which is why the accident occurred.
Luckily, both drivers were unharmed.
