Charterhouse Preparatory welcomes forward thinking Foundation Phase leader

Lindiwe Mushi has valued experience in a variety of curricula and learning environments.

Great leadership permeates down into an organisation’s foundations.

New to the Charterhouse Preparatory hierarchy, Lindiwe Mushi will be serving as the school’s new Deputy Principal of the Foundation Phase. Joining from Spark Schools Cresta where she was principal for three years, Lindiwe will add caring and grace along with applying a pragmatic long term vision to her daily tasks.

Elaborating on what motivated her to dedicate her life to the teaching profession, Lindiwe said, “I am inspired by the holistic development of children and this is done by investing in and the development of outstanding teachers.”

Stating her short term goals, Lindiwe prioritised teacher development and hopes to bridge the gap between the spectrum of families under the Charterhouse umbrella to create a more harmoniously inclusive experience for all.

In the long term, Lindiwe aims to one day play an integral part in shaping the youth of Gauteng and South Africa by channeling her love of curriculum development into the mechanisms of the Department of Education.
