The bond created by friendship can most certainly help heal trauma. At Community Led Animal Welfare (Claw), two unlikely animals have become the best of friends – testament to the bonds of friendship.

“They were being kept separately since coming to CLAW, and both were very vocal in their cages,” Pauline Smith, the vet at Claw, explained.

As you can imagine, this became unbearable, and the Claw team decided to put them together. They took comfort in one another’s presence and have not left each other’s side.
