Little Falls, Strubens Valley and Wilgeheuwel to prepare for planned power interruption this Sunday, December 11
City Power to conduct routine maintenance on the Florin Switching Station.
Residents of Little Falls, Strubens Valley and Wilgeheuwel are warned to prepare for a planned power outage this coming weekend.
The planned outage will occur between 8:00 on Sunday, December 11 to 16:00 that same Sunday afternoon. City Power will be conducting routine maintenance on the Florin Switching Station resulting the following suburbs being effected:
– The Little Falls including Extentions 01, 02 and 08.
– Strubens Valley including Extentions 01, 03, 04 07 and 15
– Wilgeheuwel including Extentions 03 12 22 23
The planned power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on the City Power network. Supply may be restored at any time and residents are urged to treat electrical supply sockets as potentially live at all times.
